‘All should pay attention to preserve norms of judiciary’

KATHMANDU, May 9: Chief Justice Sushila Karki has said that attention of one and all should be directed to preserve constitutional supremacy, rule of law and norms of independent judiciary.

In a message today on the occasion of the Law Day, the Chief Justice said that independent judiciary remaining as the real crusader of citizens’ constitutional and legal rights was the pillar.

Law Day is marked in Nepal in memory of the Nepal Pradhan Nayalaya Act, 2008 introduced for the establishment of rule of law and independent judiciary.

Chief Justice Karki has also expressed her confidence that this day would motivate for integrity to law, loyalty to constitution and service to the nation. RSS
