RPP Chair Thapa and State Minister Baniya cast their votes

HETUADA, May 14: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman, Kamal Thapa, today cast his vote at the polling station set up at the Bal Jyoti Secondary School at Piple area in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City.

Thapa cast his vote at 7:40 am. During a brief chit-chat with journalists, the RPP Chair expressed his joy at being able to cast his vote 20 years after in the local level elections taking place in a structure framed by the new constitution.

State Minister for Home Affairs, Indra Bahadur Baniya, also cast his vote at the polling station set up at Kamala Lower Secondary School at Dovanchaur of Hetauda Sub Metropolis – 18.

Makawanpur’s Chief Election Official, Daya Ram Dhakal, said the election is taking place in the district in a peaceful environment. RSS
