KATHMANDU, May 14: Joint bomb disposal teams of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police today neutralised improvised explosive devices or IEDs planted at various places in the districts including Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok and Dailekh on the voting day.

A pressure cooker bomb was deactivated at Pipalbot Chautara in Chandragiri Municipality in Kathmandu.
An IED that was planted in front of the house of CPN-UML poll candidate for mayor of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality was also defused in Gatthaghar this morning.

Likewise, IEDs planted at Panchkhal Municipality in Kavrepalanchok and at Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality in Dailekh were neutralised, police said. RSS
