UML wins in Chame, Nasyang in Manang district

KATHMANDU, May 15: CPN-UML has won in Chame and Nasyang rural municipality in Manang district.

Lokendra Bahadur Ghale of UML won the position of chairman securing 214 votes while his rival Anita Lama from Nepali Congress garnered only 173 votes. Similarly in the position of vice chairman, Nepali Congress’s Munindra Jung Gurung won securing 169 votes. He defeated Tikan Devi Gurung of UML who secured 160 votes.

Likewise, In Nesyang rural municipality, Kanchhe Ghale of UML won the post of chairman securing 627 votes. His nearest rival Binod Gurung of NC got only 461 votes.

Similarly, in vice-chairman, UML’s Minkhu Gurung has secured victory with 611 votes, while his rival Ongma Gurung garnered only 504 votes.
