Three Nepalis in Indian Army killed

FALEBAS (PARBAT), May 25: Three Nepali serving with Indian Army have lost their lives in an exchange of bullets at India-Lakitsan border.

The deceased have been identified as Rabin Sharma, 23, of Kushma municipality-8, Chuwa, Damar Bahadur Pun, 40, of Korying Tun of Gulmi and Girish Gurung, 38 of Kaski.

They lost their lives in course of military operations at Naugam Sector of Line of Control in Kasmir which demarcates the India-Pakistan border.

Sharma had joined Indian Army five years ago. His home town Chuwa is enmeshed into grief after the demise of Sharma.

Gurung of Nagidhar village of Kaski has been in Indian regiment for the past 19 years. Likewise, Pun has been serving the Indian Army for the past 21 years.

The mortal bodies of the Indian Army of Nepali origin would be cremated with full military respect, shared family sources of deceased Sharma. RSS
