BAITADI, May 26: General Secretary of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Jayanta Bahadur Chand, has said that the party had to face defeat in first round of local-level election after it failed to make people known about its agenda.

Chand said so while talking briefly to Rastriya Samachar Samiti. Chand is currently in home town in course of election publicity.

He said that the party has the agenda of establishing Nepal as a Hindu nation, constitutional monarchy as well as building a prosperous Nepal on the ground of nationality, democracy and Hinduism.

Chand said, “Quitting the government just before the election was the main cause behind party’s defeat. We will go before the people along the agenda and will be successful in send-round of election.”

He stressed that the second-round of election was compulsion as the local-level election takes the country towards the path of prosperity.

Saying win and loss is natural in democratic practice, the RPP General Secretary urged party’s cadres to be active in second-round of election. RSS
