Minister Shahi urges to complete Melamchi Drinking Water Project in time
KATHMANDU, June 6: Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has urged all to cooperate for the timely completion of Melamchi drinking water project.
In a program organized at the Ministry today, Minister Shahi directed the concerned officials to complete the work in time.
Minister Shahi shared that the government has allocated Rs 22 billion for drinking water purpose. In another context, he opined for merging the Drinking Water Ministry with Health Ministry as both are interrelated.
Similarly, State Minister Deepak Khadka urged officials to continue the required efficiency to complete the drinking water projects in time.
Likewise, secretary at the Ministry Bhim Prasad Upadhyay said that the ministry will continue drinking water projects.
