RJPN is not withdrawing its agitation: Mahato

National Assembly Election

KATHMANDU, June 14: Leader of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) Rajendra Mahato has said that his party will boycott the five-party meeting called at 4pm on Wednesday.

“Meetings and all these…just a drama. It is not necessary because we have already announced our agitation,” said Mahato while speaking to journalist Rishi Dhamala at a radio program called Nepali Bahas.

“We have already decided protest programs in Terai-Madhes districts. We are not attending any meetings,” he added.

Mahato further added, “What is all this fuss about? The government is trying to fail us and want us to step back and withdraw all our protest programs. Why should we attend the meeting? The government can go whatever it wishes. All that concerns us is that our demands should be addressed.”

He clarified, “RJPN is not stepping back from the announced agitation.”
