NC finalizes candidates in all local levels except in Province No. 2

KATHMANDU, June 14: The Nepali Congress has finalized its candidates to stand in the second phase of local level elections, except in Province no. 2.

A meeting of the party’s central executive committee chaired by the party’s Chair Sher Bahadur Deuba finalized the list of candidates, according to the party office secretary Prakash Sharma.

Candidates for Biratnagar metropolis, Ghorai Sub-metropolis, Tulasipur Sub-metropolis were among those decided today.

The Committee will meet again tomorrow to finalize the candidates for the local levels in province no. 2.

The second phase of the local level elections is being held in Province no. 1, 2, 5 and 7 on coming June 28. RSS
