NC leader presses for a probe into Badal murder case

POKHARA, June 24: The Nepali Congress has demanded an immediate investigation into the murder case of its leader Ramji Badal.

NC’s Joint Coordinator and Town Committee President of Pokhara Lekhnath Municipality, Rajendramani Lamichane, made such a demand.

At the Congress Pokhara Lekhnath Town Committee meeting on Friday, Lamichane put forth the demand and resigned from his post.

The leader complained that despite repeated calls for investigation the authorities were turning a deaf ear and unnecessary trying to put the blame on him. Badal was killed on August 13, 2015. RSS
