CPN-UML wins in PM Deuba’s Home town Amargadhi

DADELDHURA,June 30: CPN-UML has emerged victorious in Amargadhi Municipality, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s home town in Dadeldhura district.

In mayoral race, UML’s candidate garnered 3,768 votes and defeated his closes rival from Nepali Congress Dilli Raj Joshi who only secured 3,640 votes.

Likewise, in deputy mayoral post, Sangita Bhandari of UML won the election with 3,517 vote while her rival Pratibha Devi Thapa of NC got only 3,309 votes.
