Motion over demise of lawmaker Limbu passed, next meeting on June 3

KATHMANDU, July 2: Today’s meeting of the Legislature-Parliament passed a condolence motion on the demise of lawmaker Mahin Limbu.

Speaker Onsari Gharti tabled the condolence motion on the demise of CPN (UML) lawmaker Limbu, and the meeting passed the motion unanimously.

One minute’s silence was also observed in the meeting, paying tributes to late Limbu. Sixty-year-old Lawmaker Limbu died of cancer on June 24 while undergoing treatment at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. She was central committee member of the CPN (UML).

The next Parliament meeting has been scheduled for 11:00 am tomorrow. RSS
