Problem on exchange of Indian currencies will be resolved soon: DPM Mahara

KATHMANDU, July 5: Deputy Prime Minister, Krishna Bahadur Mahara, has said that the date for India visit of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba would be fixed after holding discussion between the embassies of both countries.

DPM and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahara briefed the Legislature-Parliament today that discussion was held regarding PM Deuba’s visit to India and contemporary political issues during his India visit.

He said, “High-level discussion was held for forwarding issues related to development regarding pipeline between two countries. Extensive discussion was held on impacts in Nepal-India bordering markets due to the new tax system recently implemented by Indian government and to resolve the problems regarding exchanging Indian currencies soon.”

DPM Mahara said that discussion was also held on bringing LPG bullets in Nepal soon as well as BIMESTIC meeting to be held in Nepal in near future. RSS
