5th Int’l Conference Science and Scientists 2017 to kick off from Aug 18

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The Fifth International Conference Science and Scientist 2017 is being organized on August 18 and 19 at the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan in Kamaladi of Kathmandu.

The two-day conference, which carries the slogan ‘Working Together towards Spiritual Science of the Conscious Self” is being hosted by Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Institute, Bangalore in collaboration with Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Sabha, Kathmandu, Central Department of Bio-technology, Tribhuvan University, Nepal Academy, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology and Kathmandu University.

The former President of Nepal Ram Baran Yadav will chief guest of the inaugural session of the conference, said the organizers during a press meet at the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Wednesday.

Altogether 56 presenters including leading scientists Prof. SR Bhatt and Prof. Joan Walton from India, Dr. Paul Werbos from USA, Prof. Oded Maimon from Israel and others from different countries will participate in the conference, said the organizers.

Speaking during the press meet, Prof. Mohan Kharel of bio-technology department at Tribhuvan University said that the conference will help to link science and spirituality together creating a better understanding of Vedic science. The conference will help in explaining Vedic formulas in a scientific way.

The conference is meant to highlight the ontological distinction among mechanical, chemical and biological systems, and 21st century biological sciences that are revealing a level of complexity that was unimaginable at the time of Darwin, he said.
