Bishwokarma Pooja being observed today
KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Bishwokarma Pooja, a Hindu festival, is being observed across Nepal on Sunday. Bishwokarma is regarded as the main craftsman and architect of gods.
According to Hindu mythologies, Bishwokarma designed all the chariots of gods and goddesses.
The day falls on the 1st of Ashoj month as per the Nepali Calendar.
On this day, craftsmen, smiths, welders, industrial workers and factory workers worship their vehicles and machines and offer red and white dhwojas to them.
