Postponing elections not acceptable to UML: leader Rawal

Rawal

DHANGADHI, Oct 10: CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bhim Bahadur Rawal today said the party would not entertain the ‘idea’ to postpone the elections at the eleventh hour.

He also said there would be a bad impact if the polls scheduled for November 26 and December 7 are put off by reshuffling the government at a time when the elections are up-coming.

Speaking at a press conference organised in Kailali to decide on poll candidates for Province 7, Rawal, also coordinator of the UML Province 7, suggested the Nepali Congress for forging an electoral alliance with other political parties instead of lambasting the leftist alliance.

Rawal has been unanimously proposed to contest the House of Representatives elections from Kailali constituency-2 and Achham constituency-1 from the UML quota. RSS
