Leftist alliance on behalf of people’s rights: MC chair Dahal
KATHMANDU, Oct 31: CPN (Maoist Center) chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that his party would work harder to ensure the rights of citizens in Tarai in upcoming days.
Speaking in a program organized to welcome newcomers to his party at his Lazimpat residence on Tuesday, chair Dahal clarified that the leftist alliance will not compromise in case of granting the rights to the public. He further said that the alliance was not for any other purpose rather than political stability and national prosperity.
Former PM Dahal shared that some forces were spreading various rumors against the alliance but it was only to hide their own weaknesses instead. He further urged all to make the progressive leftist alliance victorious in upcoming federal and provincial elections even to work on behalf of the Tarai people.
On the occasion, Rastriya Janata Party Siraha district chair Dinesh Ray Yadav including other 30 cadres joined the MC.
