EU mission Chief Observer calls on PM Deuba

KATHMANDU, Nov 6: Chief Observer of European Union Election Observation Mission Jeljan Jobco paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Monday.

During the meeting, matters relating to the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies in Nepal were discussed, according to the PM’s foreign affairs advisor Dr Dinesh Bhattarai.

On the occasion, Chief Observer Jobco lauded the role played by Prime Minister Deuba in ensuring the participation of all the political parties in the election and in the preparations for the election.

Also today, Ambassador of Myanmar to Nepal Lwin Oo paid a farewell call on the Prime Minister. RSS
