NC wins in Province Assembly ‘A’ in Rasuwa
RASUWA, Dec 8: Nepali Congress candidate Prabhat Lama, a common candidate from the Democratic Alliance, has become victorious in the State Assembly ‘A’ in Rasuwa district.
According to Chief District Election Officer Punaram Khanal, Lama secured 6,976 votes to clinch the State Assembly ‘A’ seat. His closest competitor, CPN-UML’s Karanyal Tamang polled 5,152 votes.
In the vote tally so far, Mohan Acahrya of the Nepali Congress has bagged 7,669 votes in the House of Representatives election while his closest contender Janardan Dhakal, the candidate from the leftist alliance, has secured 5236 votes.
