Maoist Center’s Pasang wins in Khotang ‘B’

KHOTANG, Dec 9: Ram Kumar Rai ‘Pasang’ has won the State Assembly in Khotang ‘B’.
Left alliance’s common candidate Pasang got 18,372 votes while his rival Bishnu Kumar Rai of Nepali Congress received 12,239 votes, the Office of the Chief Election Officer said.

Likewise in Khotang ‘A’, CPN UML’s Rajan Rai secured a seat for provincial assembly from the district, garnering 18,933 votes. His nearest rival Nepali Congress’ Subash Kumar Pokhrel got 13,411 votes.
