Left alliance clinches both province assembly seats in Lalitpur-3

LALITPUR, Dec 9: Left alliance candidates have come out victorious in both seats towards the Province Assembly in the Lalitpur-3.

CPN (Maoist Center)’s candidate Rajkaji Shrestha won the election for the State Assembly ‘A’ in Lalitpur-3 with 14,624 votes. His nearest rival Nawaraj Mahat of Nepali Congress obtained 10,118 votes.

Likewise, in the Province Assembly ‘B’, CPN-UML candidate Jeevan Khadka secured 11,701 votes to win the election against his nearest rival from the Nepali Congress, Shibaram Baniya, who obtained 8,691 votes.
