UML’s Sharma wins Province Assembly seat in Dang-1 ‘B’

TULSIPUR, Dec 9: CPN-UML’s Rewati Raman Sharma of the leftist alliance has become victorious in the Province Assembly election from Dang constituency 1 ‘B’. He secured 19,354 votes.

Sharma’s closest rival Nepali Congress’ Janaki Lal Basnet polled 12,753 votes, the Office of the District Election Office, Dang stated.

There were a total 52,700 voters in this constituency and of them 36,142 voters had voted in the election.
