UML’s Bishnu Poudel wins federal parliament election from Rupendahi-2

RUPENDAHI, Dec 9: CPN-UML’s candidate Bishnu Poudel has been elected as the federal parliament member from Rupendahi constituency-2. Left alliance candidate Poudel, also UML’s vice general secretary, secured 44,009 votes to defeat his Nepali Congress candidate Yubaraj Giri with more than double votes. Giri only garnered 21,946 votes.
