Dhamala says, leaders’ focus should be developing country; not tops posts and chairs

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: CPN (Maoist Center) leader Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that the country has moved ahead in the path of development and prosperity.

“The elections have been concluded. Now, the left alliance will head government for five years and lead the country towards development and prosperity,” said Sapkota during the 14th general assembly of Nepal Tourist Vehicle Association in the capital on Friday.

He also said that left alliance government will focus on development of tourism sector in Nepal. “Nepal will be developed as one of the major tourism hub of the world.”

Also, speaking on the occasion, Reporters’ Club Nepal’s President Rishi Dhamala stressed on putting brake to strikes and protests so as to take the country toward the path of development and prosperity.

“A stable government is being established in the country. Strikes, protest should be ended as the political parties promised in their manifesto. Tourism has to be promoted as it is the backbone of Nepal’s economy,” said Dhamala.

Dhamala also suggested the political leaders to focus on making the country rather than running and vying for the post of ministers and prime minister.
