Memo submitted demanding Dipayal be declared as temporary capital of province 7

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Leaders and cadres of different political parties have submitted a memorandum to top leaders of major political parties, demanding Dipayal of Doti be declared as capital of province no 7.

The leaders and cadres of different political parties of Doti today said that serious attention has been drawn towards the news that preparation was underway to declare Dhangadhi as a temporary capital of province no 7.

The delegation submitted the memo to CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary, Bishnu Poudel, said a member of House of Representatives from Doti, Prem Bahadur Ale Magar.

The memo demanded to declare Dipayal as temporary capital of province no 7 as it is always a center of far-western region since Rana regime and it is at equidistant from all districts of province no 7.

The memo incorporated signature of member of HoR and UML leader Ale Magar, Nepali Congress Mahasamiti member and member of Doti Provincial Assembly (1), Bharat Bahadur Khadka, and CPN (Maoist Center) Politburo Member and member of Doti Provincial Assembly (2), Trilochan Bhatta, among others. RSS
