Ambassador Dhakal calls on Omeni Tourism Minister Mahrizi



Ambassador of Nepal to Omen, Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal and Omeni Tourism Minister Ahmed bin Nasser Bin Hamed Al Mahrizi

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: Ambassador of Nepal to Omen, Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal has paid a courtesy call on Omeni Tourism Minister Ahmed bin Nasser Bin Hamed Al Mahrizi at the latter’s office on Thursday.

During the meeting Dhakal lauded the dynamic leadership of  Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said and expressed happiness over the excellent state of bilateral relations between Nepal and Oman.

Mahrizi, in the meeting, recalled the Oman visit of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on September 2017. Both had substantive discussion on promoting mutual cooperation for development of tourism industries in both countries.

In this regard, both agreed to take steps to initiate Memorandum of Understandings on Tourism Cooperation as soon as possible and facilitate tourism links through developing people to people contact, cultural exchanges, tourism colleges and research institutions.

Minister Mahrizi assured of continued Omani support and cooperation to the socio-economic development efforts of Nepal and wished Ambassador Dhakal for her successful tenure in the Sultanate and assured for full cooperation from Oman in discharging her duties.
