President’s message on Democracy Day

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has wished for economic prosperity and good governance in the country that would prevail through the recently held elections in different phases.

In a message today on the occasion of the Democracy Day, 2074 BS, the President said that moving ahead by internalizing the good governance, peace and consensus and being directed from the experiences and lessons of our achievements is our common duty and responsibility.

Likewise, President Bhandari has also expresses her best wishes to all Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of the 68th National Democracy Day adding that this day would encourage all to move ahead by embracing the fundamental norms and values of the democracy.

President Bhandari has also expressed heartfelt condolences to all known and unknown martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of democracy. RSS
