NC CEC to endorse parliamentary party statute today

KATHMANDU, Feb 25: The Nepali Congress Central Executive Committee is to endorse the ‘NC parliamentary party statute, 2074’ at its meeting to be held at the party’s central office today.

The endorsement of the statute will also see the beginning of the process to elect the parliamentary party leader, NC spokesperson Biswa Prakash Sharma said.

The statute was unanimously approved by a joint meeting of the NC members of parliament in the House of Representatives and National Assembly on Saturday.

As per the schedule, the meeting today will also constitute the election committee and designate the date for the election. Matters relating to other contemporary political issues will also be discussed at the meeting, spokesperson Sharma said.
