Wildlife Photography Workshop to take place from March 9 to 14

KATHMANDU, March 4: ROAR-For Conservation is organizing the Wildlife Photography Workshop Series 2 at the Bardiya National Park from 9th to 14th March. The 6-nights and 7-days workshop is being organized with an aim to promote tourism in Bardiya National park and help people discover the beauty of unexplored Nepal, according to the organizers.
The Series one Workshop was organized from Feb 20-24 last year.
“Our country is blessed with natural beauty and unique geographical orientation that provides suitable habitat for some of the most elusive flora and fauna in the world,” says Bishesh Gautam, Executive member of ROAR-For Conservation.
“Along with attracting tourists to Bardiya, we are also working towards spreading awareness about the urgent need to conserve wildlife and their natural niche through photography,” says Gautam.
Bardiya National Park, the largest and most undisturbed national park covering an area of 968 km2 (374 sq mi), is famous for its majestic Royal Bengal Tiger and many other exotic species. The astonishing demography of this place makes it even more attractive for nature enthusiasts.
According to Gautam, the workshop will teach young photography enthusiasts and nature lovers to capture the wild animals in their natural habitat. “We believe our small effort will facilitate the conservation of wildlife in the future,” said Gautam.
