NC forms shadow government in Dolpa

DOLPA, April 29: Nepali Congress (NC) has formed its shadow government in Tripurasundari Municipality, Dolpa.

Out of eight local levels in Dolpa district, this is the first of its kind by the NC in Dopla.

Moti Prasad Upadhyay of Tripurasundari Municipality would lead the NC’s shadow government in the local level.

Likewise, 18-member Tarun Dal Committee was formed under the leadership of Madan Bahadur Rokaya to assist with the shadow government, according to Nepali Congress District Committee, Dolpa.

The shadow government would back the people’s representatives and the local government in their better performance while it would protest during their faults.

President of Tarun Dal, Dolpa, Tul Bahadur Bohora said that the shadow government would be formed in all remaining seven local levels soon. RSS
