Nepal Communist Party changes seating arrangement at House

KATHMANDU, May 18: Following the merger announcement of CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) to form Nepal Communist Party on Thursday, the newly formed party has reshuffled its seating arrangement at the Parliament in terms of seniority.
With the change, co-chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has held the seat of party’s senior-most leader. Next to him will sit senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal. Dahal sat at the number one seat representing the newly formed party while Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli has sat at the side allotted for the government.
