Prachanda first blood donor in event held in memory of his son

KATHMANDU, May 26: The Everest Summiteers Association, Kathmandu organized a blood donation program in the capital on Saturday on the occasion of upcoming International Sagarmatha (Mount Everest) Day.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the chair of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and former Prime Minister and father of Everest summiteer, the late Prakash Dahal, inaugurated the event also held in commemoration of his son and other the late summiteers.

Leader Dahal was the first donor in the event in which over 100 people donated blood, according to the Association.

Prakash had successfully scaled the highest peak of the world on 26th May, 2012. He died of cardiac arrest in November last year. RSS
