Province 2 CM Raut calls for strengthening republic
DHANUSA, May 29: Chief Minister of Province 2 Lal Babu Raut on Tuesday said that it is the responsibility of all people to strengthen republic achieved through the sacrifice of martyrs.
“Democratic republic was established in the country that went through various political upheavals since 2007 BS like democratic movements, the Maoist’s decade long insurgency and Madhes revolt,” he said at a program organized on the special occasion of the 11th Republic Day.
He also praised sacrifices made by known and unknown martyrs and Ram Raja Prasad Singh, a campaigner for republic Nepal for establishing republic.
The event was also attended by ministers of the province government, Province Assembly members, judges from Janakpur High Court, secretary of the province government, chiefs of security agencies and employees. RSS
