BUTWAL, May 1: Nepali Congress leader Dr Minendra Rijal has said that the activities carried out by the incumbent government are against democracy.

Speaking at an interaction program organized by the Reporters’ Club Nepal on Tuesday, leader Rijal accused the left government of trying to become dictatorial.

He also stressed that it is time all leaders and cadres of the Nepali Congress moved ahead together than only expressing their dissatisfaction.

The NC leader suggested that the trend of making decision on the basis of majority and minority in the party should be ended.

Suggesting Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba to hold discussion while appointing office-bearers in the party Rijal, “Decision taken in the unilateral manner would not be acceptable. Appointment of office-bearers should be made on the basis of consensus.”
