National poet Ghimire hospitalized again

KATHMANDU, June 3: National poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire has been hospitalized again. Poet Ghimire had returned home on Saturday after receiving treatment at the Gurgaon-based Medanta Hospital in Delhi, India.

The 99-year old, Ghimire has been admitted Tokha-based Grande International Hospital and is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), according to the doctors.

Ghimire was taken to Delhi on May 23 after Dhapasi based Grande Hospital referred him to Medanta.

The national poet has been suffering from internal bleeding and he has been under a regular medication for the past three months following complications in his heart, kidney and lungs.
