Magnitude 4.9 earthquake hits Bajura

BAJURA, June 5: An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the richter scale was felt in Bajura of Province 7 at 7:19 am on Tuesday morning.

The quake had occurred with its epicenter at a forest area situating on the border of Bajura and Humla districts, according to Seismological Center Surkhet’s technical officer Tirtha Dahal.
