Four killed in road accident

CHITWAN, June 15: Four passengers were killed in a truck-microbus collision along the Prithvi Highway in Chitwan this morning.

The accident took place when a microbus (Ga 1 Kha 7692) heading to Kathmandu from Pokhara collided with a truck (Na 6 Kha 4064) coming from opposite direction at the place. The truck fell onto the bank of Trishuli river after the accident.

The deceased and injured are the microbus passengers.

According to Chitwan Police office, of the four deceased, only one person, Chandra Bahadur KC, 33 of Kaski Rupakot has been identified.

Similarly, five injured have been rescued and are undergoing treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
