Akbar Shah arrested for alleged involvement in gold smuggling
KATHMANDU, June 22: The special investigation team formed under the Ministry of Home Affairs arrested a restaurant entrepreneur Akbar Shah for his alleged involvement in 33 Kg gold smuggling.
According to a member of the investigation team, Shah was arrested on Thursday evening.
Investigators have suspected that Shah was one of the investors for smuggled gold.
Shah is also a relative of murdered media entrepreneur Jamim Shah.
