Two arrested with 3 kgs of gold

KATHMANDU, June 30: The Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu has arrested two people including one Indian national with three kilos of illegal gold from Nagdhunga on Saturday.
A squad from the Range arrested Deepak Kumar Morre, 19, from India and Manoj BK, 23, Kanchanpur from the Nagdhunga area during checking carried out at around 11:30 am.
According to Range Chief Bishwaraj Pokhrel, the gold was confiscated as it was hidden in an air filter of a motor vehicle (Maruti Van 800), as stated by Range Chief Bishwaraj Pokhrel. Further investigations are going on to know the source of gold and other related information.
