Three killed as landslide buries house in Rolpa

ROLPA, July 2: Three members of a same family including a newborn were killed as a landslide buried a house at Saiwang of Runtigadhi Rural Municipality-5 in Rolpa district.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal, the victims are identified as Kamala Bishwakarma, 22, her 18 days old daughter and niece Chitra Bishwakarma, 15.

The dead bodies were pulled from the debris and have been taken to the Holeri Primary Health Center for post-mortem examinations. The incident site lies in a distance of two day walk from the district headquarters Liwang.
