CPN-ML demands tax cut
KATHMANDU, July 26: CPN-ML standing committee has demanded the government to immediately withdraw the raised charge on different services including the registration of birth, and other taxes.
The meeting of the party led by General Secretary CP Mainali decided that such raised charges and taxes would badly affect the general people, which is indeed a hindrance to building socialist economy.
The party urged the government to be sensitive towards growing unemployment and expensive market. It needs to ease the supply of daily essentials, the meeting underscored.
It also strongly demanded the protection of life of agitating Dr Govinda KC.
