HoR passes condolence motion on demise of former lawmaker Pangeni

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Sunday has unanimously passed the condolence motion on the demise of former lawmaker Kamal Prasad Pangeni.

The meeting also observed one minute silence, wishing eternal peace to the departed one.

Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara tabled the condolence motion on the death of leader of democratic movement, Pangeni, in the meeting.

Pangeni died of heart attack in Syangja this morning. He was 56.

Pangeni was elected as the Nepali Congress member of the Constituent Assembly from Syangja-2 in the election held in 2070 BS. He was also President of the Nepali Congress Syangja and social worker.

The HoR will meet next at 2:00 pm tomorrow. RSS
