Prosperity through good governance and development: PM Oli

KATHMANDU, August 7: Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli has reiterated his firm commitment to work with highest level of honesty to materialize the target of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.

He said, “The government is working to advance the nation in the new era by developing it as a hub of education, health and tourism after ending poverty and backwardness. I urge all to extend their best possible support in this regard.”

Addressing the 73rd Hiroshima Memorial Day organized in the capital city on Monday, the PM said prosperity can be achieved through good governance and development. “The country will prosper only if the youths rise, the youth can make the nation,” the PM shared his confidence.

Saying that world peace, co-existence, brotherhood and unity were Nepal’s foreign policy, PM Oli added that Government of Nepal and Nepalis are in favor of the nuclear power free world.

Stressing the need to stop the making of nuclear arms, their collection and proliferation, Oli said that the peoples of the world should be guaranteed their right to live without any fear.

The nuclear power should be limited only in the form of intellectual knowledge and property, and should not be used against human being anywhere and we have to be cautious towards this, the PM added. RSS
