Noted artist Manuj Babu Mishra passes away
KATHMANDU, Aug 8: Noted artist and literary figure Manuj Babu Mishra passed away at the age of 83 due to cardiac arrest this morning.
According to family sources, Mishra breathed his last at 2.00 am while he was asleep at his residence. Mishra had been suffering from high blood pressure and he has not come outside his residence (cave) for the past two decades.
His autobiographical piece ‘Adhai Dashak Gufama (Two-and-a-half Decades in Cave)’ was published two years ago.
The Late Mishra is the father of Coordinator of the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Rabindra Mishra, and Principal of College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Dr Manju Mishra.
Mishra’s last rites will be performed after the arrival of his youngest son from abroad. He is survived by wife, two sons and two daughters.
