‘Government committed to civic rights, justice, prosperity’

DANG, August 23: Chief Minister of Province No. 5 Shanker Pokharel argued that the incumbent government was committed to civil right, justice and the nation’s prosperity.

Speaking the at a news conference organized by Press Chautari and Press Centre, Dang, on Wednesday, Chief Minister said that the government was working out and out to achieve economic prosperity in the country adding that people’s rights would also be ensured.

Pokharel was of the opinion that those expecting instability in the nation were even protesting the good deeds of the government while they were attempting to shine their image by spreading rumor of hopelessness among the general public.

The government was criticized over the issue of taxation for no reason though the people with low income are exempted of the tax while tax was not imposed on education and health, Pokharel shared. RSS
