Karnali govt urges Center facilitate in foreign aid mobilization

SURKHET, Sept 3: The Karnali provincial government has decided to urge the federal government to facilitate for the operation of foreign aids to be received by the provincial government.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers of the provincial government on Monday took the decision to this end.

The spokesperson at the provincial government Bimala KC also the Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives shared that the foreign donors were ready to pledge the assistance in vocational education, roads, irrigation, power development, tourism among other several sectors therefore, they were seeking consent from the federal government.

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was found ready to assist in the sectors; therefore, the government was requesting the federal government and Ministry of Finance for the consent and facilitation for the same, Minister KC added. RSS
