Government attention drawn towards various issues
KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Lawmaker Jitendra Narayan Dev on Friday taking a time in a special hour of the National Assembly (NA) expressed his concern over the killing of a citizen in Bardiya for greeting a minister with a black flag and no conduction of a post-mortem examination of dead body.
He further accused the government of not taking the cases of murder reported in Swoyambu of Kathmandu seriously. It may be noted that the body of Shyam Shrestha was found inside a taxi while the body of Sangeen GC was recovered from a bush land.
Another Upper House member Ramchandra Rai said a delay in reconstructions of heritages could pose risk to our distinct identity.
Jeevan Budha demanded the government intervention to mitigate the increasing risk of natural disasters in various districts in the Karnali province and ensure smooth traffic services in Surkhet and Jumla. RSS
