Creating child friendly environment is state responsibility: Minister Thapa
Kathmandu, Dec 8 : Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Thammaya Thapa has said that protection of the children was the responsibility of the state.
While inaugurating a two-day workshop on ‘Alternative Care for Children in Nepal’ jointly organised by SOS Balgram, Plan International Nepal, Save the Children and UNICEF here today, Minister Thapa pledged to create child friendly environment in all sectors of the state mechanism.
She also urged all concerned organizations working in the children sectors to unite for effective programmes focusing on children. (RSS)
