President aggrieves Dang accident
Kathmandu, Dec 22 : President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed her sadness over the deaths of 22 people in an accident involving a bus carrying teachers and students returning from an educational tour in Tulsipur of Dang on Friday.
In a tweet today, the President has extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
So far the death toll from accident took place at 4:50 pm on Friday has reached 23. The bus (Ba. 4 Kha. 9766) en route to Tulsipur from Kapurkot of Salyan carrying students and teachers of the Krishnasen Icchuk Technical School in Ghorahi, following the educational tour of the botanical garden in Mulpani of Kapurkot, Salyan, fell some 700 meters below the road at Ramri of Tulsipur sub metropolis.
