Govt serious about sorting out problems of landless squatters: DPM Yadav

Lahan, Siraha, Dec 26 : Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav today said the government was serious about resolving the problems of landless squatters.

“The government has initiated a plan to find genuine landless squatters and resolve their problems. There cannot be the development of the whole country unless their problems are sorted out,” he said while inaugurating the province convention of Province 2 of the settlement protection society of Nepal here.

He also referred to the new constitution ensuring a proper management of landless squatters. The tendency of taking advantages in the name of landless squatters is a matter of concern and should be ended, he added. RSS
